xThe VJ IRock 4 has been upgraded with a soft antislip heel to make sure that the shoe shapes better to the foot and that the foot stays inside of the shoe even during the toughest of performances. The upper’s design has also seen some small tweaks to enhance the fit of the shoe.
The VJ Irock has long been the most aggressive VJ shoe without metal studs for softer conditions. Its specifically designed lug configuration gives optimal grip when it's slippery but still sheds loose debris that could otherwise become attached. VJ’s signature Butyl rubber completes the outsole giving the IRock the world-famous grip it is known for.
The Schoeller®-Keprotec® upper featuring aramid fibres is incredibly durable and protective with the Fitlock system providing added protection and a personalized fit around the foot arch. With its precision fit and amazing grip, the IRock has long been an orienteers’ favourite but has in recent years shown its class in everything from obstacle course races to the most technical of skyraces.
With performance in mind, this shoe is best suited for shorter to middle distances in softer terrain and is in a class of its own from snowy descents to muddy trails.
